空の容器が一番大きい音がする
「中身のない人ほどうるさく喋る」という意味。
「空き樽は音が高い」もしくは「弱い犬ほどよく吠える」ってやつ。
そのまま日本語になっているというか、日本語とほぼほぼ同じ。
となるとこれは日本語でも英語でもない元のパターンがあるような気もする。
聞いてもいないのにベラベラと話し始める人。自分語りマシーン。
